Yungblud teams up with Aerosmith, Steve Martin for reimagined ‘My Only Angel’

Aerosmith and Yungblud have shared “My Only Angel (Desert Road Version),” a stripped-back version of the lead single from their upcoming collaborative EP One More Time, set to drop on November 21st (preorder: HERE).

Tyler reached out to Grammy Award-winning musician Steve Martin to bring the distinctive sound of a banjo to the song for the reimagined version of ‘My Only Angel,’ with Martin’s banjo solo closing out the track.

“My Only Angel” marks Aerosmith’s first new music in more than twelve years; upon its release in September the song debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, where it remained in the Top 10 for three weeks, and landed in the top 40 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay charts.

Yungblud (real name Dominic Harrison) first teamed up with Aerosmith during a studio session for a guest feature on the track “Hello Heaven, Hello,” which led to them collaboration on the five-track EP. One More Time, produced by Matt Schwartz, features four original songs co-written by Aerosmith and Yungblud, as well as a remixed version of “Back In The Saddle.”
