Neighbors Feeding Neighbors Launches Holiday Food-Drive to Support Local Families

CLARKSTON, WA — The Neighbors Feeding Neighbors Community Food Drive is continuing across the Lewis-Clark Valley, with organizers encouraging residents to contribute food and financial donations as the need for assistance remains high in the region.

The campaign benefits both the Community Action Agency Food Bank in North Idaho and the Asotin County Food Bank, two programs that continue to see increased demand for assistance as winter approaches. Community Action Partnership (CAP) encourages residents to contribute non-perishable food items or make financial donations to help sustain local food resources.

Organizers say the goal of the drive is to strengthen food-bank services on both sides of the river. Donations collected through the campaign help supply food boxes, support emergency food distribution, and ensure families experiencing hardship have access to basic resources throughout the season.

Residents may donate directly to either food bank:

Community Action Food Bank
124 New 6th Street, Lewiston

Asotin County Food Bank
1546 Maple Street, Clarkston

Monetary contributions are also accepted through the official online link:

The campaign notes that every contribution—whether a food item or a financial contribution—helps families in the region who continue to face food insecurity.
