WASHINGTON, D.C. – A multi-state recall has been issued for several shredded cheese products after routine checks identified the potential presence of metal fragments in a supplier’s raw materials, according to an FDA enforcement report. Products were shipped to retailers in more than 30 states, including Idaho and Washington, as well as Puerto Rico. No injuries have been reported, but officials advise consumers not to eat any product matching the listed brands and batch codes.
