BOISE, ID — Ada County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 32-year-old man earlier this month on multiple felony charges involving minors, and investigators believe additional victims may still be unidentified.
According to the sheriff’s office, Akua Wells was taken into custody on November 7, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m. He is charged with four felony counts of sexual battery of a minor between 16 and 17 years old. Authorities say the victim in the initial case was known to Wells, who remains held in the Ada County Jail.
As detectives continued their investigation, an additional victim was identified within Boise city limits. The Boise Police Department has since opened a related case.
Investigators say preliminary information indicates there may be more victims, possibly between the ages of 15 and 17. Wells had been working as a driver for a food-delivery app and frequently operated in both Ada and Canyon counties. Detectives believe his delivery routes may have created opportunities for him to contact or locate victims. He has also been associated with a white 2009 Kia Sedona.
