COLLEGE PLACE, WA – Every Warrior in Tuesday’s contest scored and grabbed a rebound as LC State Men’s Basketball opened the week with a 79-64 victory at Walla Walla (Wash.). Brandon Suber led the Warriors in scoring for the second straight contest with 15 points off the bench.
“Good road win for the guys,” coach Austin Johnson said. “Wasn’t pretty, but we kept attacking and getting to the rim in the second half which helped stop WWU’s run. We had some really good individual performances defensively and our guys really moved the ball side to side offensively which has been an emphasis. We’ll move on and prep for a very talented Warner Pacific team.”
The victory improves the LC State record to 8-3 overall and 2-1 in Cascade Conference play.
