KAMIAH – On October 19, around 3:10 p.m., Idaho County Dispatch took a call regarding a civil protection order violation and an assault that had occurred in the Kamiah area.

Deputies responded and spoke with the female victim, who had visible injuries.

34-year-old Benjamin Lester, of Kamiah, was arrested for felony domestic battery with traumatic injury in the presence of a child, felony stalking in the first degree, misdemeanor violation of a civil protection order, misdemeanor malicious injury to property, and misdemeanor resisting and obstructing an officer.
