Man pleads guilty to trafficking stolen property tied to Pullman car break-ins

COLFAX, WA – The 33 year old Endicott man accused of conducting a car burglary spree in Pullman has pleaded guilty.

Christopher Dehague pleaded guilty Friday in Whitman County Superior Court to felony trafficking stolen property and two counts of possessing stolen property. Dehague was arrested by the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office in early January thanks to information from one of his victims. A Pullman woman had thousands of dollars in purses stolen from her car in late December. She discovered an online post from Dehague trying to sell the purses on Facebook Marketplace and called Pullman Police. Pullman Officers contacted the sheriff’s office and deputies found the stolen items when they executed a search warrant at Dehague’s home.

Dehague also pleaded guilty on Friday to a misdemeanor for stealing tools from another vehicle in Pullman in late December. He is set to be sentenced in early May on the felonies. Dehague is asking for a special Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative sentence. He has an lengthy criminal history which includes multiple property crime cases in the Tri-Cities.
