LC Valley Mud Run Returns August 23 with Obstacles, Mud, and Fun for All Ages

LEWISTON, ID — The LC Valley Down and Dirty Mud Run is set to return Saturday, August 23, 2025, offering participants of all ages a chance to tackle a 3.1-mile obstacle course designed for fun, fitness, and community support.

As the region’s only mud run and obstacle course race, the annual event is organized by volunteers and sponsored by local businesses, with all proceeds benefiting local charities and nonprofits. Participants can expect more than just a workout — organizers promise a full-body experience that builds confidence and camaraderie.

“People are starving for a chance to feel unstoppable,” the event team shared. “Under all that mud is a new experience and a brand-new smile.”

The main course features a variety of obstacles along a 5K trail at 1239 Warner Ave in Lewiston, ID. For those seeking an extra challenge, participants can complete the course multiple times. There’s also a Mini-Mudder for kids, open to all ages, with a parent or guardian required for younger runners. While the event is not officially timed as a race, chip timing is available for those who want it.

Registration costs range from $45 to $75 for the main event, depending on how early you sign up. Entry includes a T-shirt, finishers medal, chip timing, and access to a post-race shower and party. The Mini-Mudder is $25.
