KOOSKIA, ID – The pilot of a small plane was transported to the hospital after an incident south of Kooskia on Saturday.

According to a release from Kooskia Emergency Services, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Kooskia Ambulance and the Kooskia Fire Department were dispatched to a reported aircraft accident in a field near mile post 24.5 on Highway 13.

The unidentified pilot and sole occupant of the aircraft was extricated from the plane prior to our crews arrival and transported to the hospital by Kooskia Ambulance.
