Police Seek Person of Interest in Southern Idaho Stabbing

REXBURG, ID – Police in southern Idaho are searching for a person of interest following a stabbing that occurred Sunday evening.

The individual, identified as Daytona “Tony” Travis, was last seen leaving an area on West Highway 33 in a white Ford F-150, though investigators do not currently know which direction he was headed.

Authorities are warning the public that Travis is considered armed and dangerous. They urge anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts to avoid approaching and instead contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Office immediately.

The Sheriff’s Office released a public notice Sunday night asking for assistance in locating Travis, who is wanted for questioning in connection to the stabbing. No additional details about the victim or the circumstances of the incident were immediately available.
