
LEWISTON, ID – Lewis-Clark State College’s Social Sciences Division will mark Constitution Day with a public panel discussion on the 14th Amendment and birthright citizenship.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Sacajawea Hall, Room 115. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the program is free to attend. A livestream option will also be available through Microsoft Teams using the ID 227 194 246 473 and Passcode EC28WR2x.
Panelists include Social Sciences Division Chair and history professor Chris Riggs, justice studies professor Gene Straughan, and political science professors Leif Hoffmann and Kylee Britzman. A brief Q&A session will follow the discussion, giving attendees the chance to engage with panelists.
