ATHOL, ID – The Idaho State Police are investigating a crash that left one person injured Wednesday morning at the intersection of the southbound US-95 off ramp and State Highway 54 in Athol.
The collision occurred at 7:44 a.m. and involved a 2007 International tow truck driven by a 37-year-old Athol man and a 16-year-old Athol girl riding a scooter. The juvenile was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries .
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Idaho State Police at 208-209-8730 .
The incident is being handled by ISP District 1, which covers northern Idaho, including Kootenai County where Athol is located .
