PULLMAN, WA — Two people were injured Friday evening following a two-vehicle collision on State Route 270 in Pullman.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:13 p.m. when a 2010 Mazda 3 exited a driveway at 4853 W-270 and entered the highway without headlights on. The vehicle was struck by an eastbound 2022 Hyundai Elantra.
The Mazda’s driver, 57-year-old Holly M. Campbell of Palouse, was airlifted to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. She was cited for negligent driving in the second degree. The other driver, 19-year-old Thomas J. Craemer of Hope, Idaho, was transported to Gritman Medical Center in Moscow for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.
