LEWISTON, ID — Lewis-Clark State College will host its ninth annual Moore Honorary Lecture on Monday, Oct. 27, at noon in Sacajawea Hall, Room 115, and online via Microsoft Teams.
Investigative reporter Nicole Foy will present “Objectivity, identity and what the past means for journalism’s future.” Foy co-founded Voces Internship of Idaho, a nonprofit connecting young Idahoans with paid newsroom internships. Her reporting on immigration, Latino communities, and government accountability has appeared in ProPublica, CalMatters, and the Idaho Statesman, among others.
The lecture honors former political science professor Richard Moore, who taught at LC State from 1978 to 2005 and served in several leadership roles, including dean of the School of Arts and Sciences.
The event is sponsored by the Social Sciences Division. For details, contact professors Kylee Britzman (208-792-2615) or Leif Hoffmann (208-792-2818).
