CLARKSTON, WA – TriState Health Wellness will host a free Prediabetes Education Class on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1221 Highland Avenue in Clarkston. According to TriState Health, roughly 98 million Americans have prediabetes, which can increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. The upcoming class will cover how to make and maintain healthy lifestyle changes, reduce diabetes risk, and improve insulin resistance.
“Our Diabetes Care Team’s mission is to empower patients with the self-care management skills necessary to improve their quality of life,” said Jen Scharffer, Director of Wellness at TriState Health.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionists at TriState Wellness will lead the class, offering guidance on nutrition planning, disease prevention, and long-term wellness strategies to help participants make informed choices toward healthier living.
