LEWISTON, ID — The City of Lewiston is notifying solid waste customers that the Lewiston Transfer Station and Clearwater Composting will be closed on Sunday, April 5, in observance of Easter.

Officials said the transfer station and composting site will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, April 6.

The temporary closure will not affect service from Sunshine Disposal, which will continue operating on its regular schedule.

City officials encourage customers to plan ahead for any disposal or composting needs around the closure date.
