VANCOUVER, WA — A small plane made an emergency landing on eastbound State Route 14 Saturday afternoon, briefly disrupting traffic before safely continuing to a nearby airport.
According to authorities, the aircraft landed around 12:40 p.m. near milepost 2.4 and came to rest on the shoulder. The right lane was closed as emergency crews responded.
The Washington State Patrol later conducted a rolling slowdown on eastbound SR 14, allowing the plane to taxi to the Evergreen Exit.
By 1:40 p.m., all lanes had reopened. The plane continued on to Pearson Airport. No injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.
