LEWISTON, ID – No. 20 LC State Women’s Golf finished day one of the 2026 Cascade Conference Golf Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, on Monday at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club. The Warriors sit in third place, 26-over, nine strokes off No. 22 Oregon Tech and No. 5 British Columbia. The Owls and Thunderbirds are tied for first at 17-over par.
“Wasn’t our best start, but we have two days to fight back,” coach Zach Anderson said. “We have regrouped and have lots of positive thoughts to head into tomorrow.”
The Warrior women are led by Isabella Barquet. The junior carded a consistent round which has her in a two-way tie for second place at 3-over, 75, just two strokes off the lead.
Freshman Taylor Mire sits in a tie for 11th place. She shot 7-over-par in round one which included a solid back nine.
Senior Dallis Shockey and sophomore Giulia Belfontali finished the round as part of a three-way tie for 14th. They each shot 8-over, 80, through the first 18 holes.
Sophomore Jane Barry sits in a tie for 23rd after a round of 12-over, 84.
