ASOTIN COUNTY, WA — The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife is reminding the public that the shooting range at the Asotin Creek Wildlife Area remains closed following flooding earlier this spring.
According to WDFW, flooding altered the course of a nearby creek, which now runs directly through the shooting range. Officials said people have continued using the range despite posted closure signs and visible flood damage.
WDFW Police officers are continuing to patrol the area and are asking the public to avoid target shooting at the range until further notice.
