CLARKSTON, WA — The Clarkston Farmer and Artisan Market announced it will close for the 2026 season due to staffing shortages and other operational challenges.
In a press release issued Thursday, market organizers said the nonprofit market will take a hiatus from operations this year while efforts are made to restructure and plan for the future.
The market is a Washington and federally recognized nonprofit organization and participates in several community assistance programs, including SNAP EBT, the Washington State SNAP Market Match program, and WIC and Senior Nutrition Program services. Organizers said they hope the market can continue in the future with additional community involvement and volunteer support.
Those interested in helping with future planning and restructuring efforts are encouraged to contact the market through email, phone, or social media.
