PULLMAN, WA – A couple hundred people gathered in Pullman on Monday to celebrate the groundbreaking for the Veterans Memorial Park.
The City of Pullman has been working with the local Maynard-Price American Legion Post 52 on the project for several years. Veterans Memorial Park will be developed next to the city cemetery on the South end of town.
A Washington state grant and private donations are funding the work. The total project estimated to cost about two and a half million dollars.
