LEWISTON, ID— Final results have been released from the Idaho Lottery’s Scratch for Schools event held Tuesday at the Lewis-Clark State College campus in Lewiston.
According to the Idaho Lottery, Grangeville Middle School recorded the fastest time in the five-minute scratching round, successfully scratching all 200 tickets during the competition.
Highland High School in Craigmont was the overall top prize winner of the event, taking home $774.

In total, 51 schools participated in the Lewiston-area competition, with educators and school staff members racing to scratch tickets in a fast-paced fundraiser benefiting their schools.
Organizers reported that $16,881 in prize money was awarded during the event.
The Lewiston competition was one of several Scratch for Schools events hosted across Idaho this year. The program is organized by the Idaho Lottery and raises funds for school programs and classroom needs.
