CLARKSTON, WA – Asotin County Fire District #1 responded to a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening on Fleshman Way.
The crash was reported at approximately 8:10 p.m., just east of the 13th Street on-ramp. According to fire officials, a local driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole.
A Lewiston medic evaluated the driver at the scene for minor injuries, but the driver declined further medical care. Officials reported the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
No additional injuries were reported.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage and appeared to be totaled. The light pole remained operational but was left leaning following the collision.
Asotin County Fire District #1 reminds drivers to wear seat belts and operate vehicles safely, particularly during evening hours when visibility may be reduced.
