Warrior Baseball Checks in At No. 24 in Latest Rankings

KANSAS CITY, MO – Despite not being able to play at home yet this season and facing some of the top teams on the road, LC State Baseball did enough to remain in the NAIA’s top 25 at No. 24. The Warriors play their first home series of the season this weekend against Eastern Oregon.

LC State went 2-4 on the season-opening trip to Florida, including a victory over then-No. 1 Tennessee Wesleyan. Since returning, the Warriors have had a home series cancelled due to weather and another changed to a road series at College of Idaho because of the field conditions. LC State won both Cascade Conference series against C of I and then-No. 24 British Columbia to sit at 4-2 in CCC play.

The Warriors are currently tied at the top of the CCC standings after the first two weeks of conference play.

UBC fell out of the top 25 and is receiving votes.
