CLARKSTON, WA – The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office has issued a public notification regarding Daniel Reece Townsend, a 69-year-old Clarkston resident whose sex offender classification has been elevated to Level III.
According to the May 2025 release, Townsend’s status was increased from Level II due to escalating behaviors and increased law enforcement contact. He has been convicted of a sex offense requiring registration and is currently residing on 6th Avenue in Clarkston.
Authorities note that Townsend is not wanted by the police at this time. The notification is intended to raise public awareness and is not meant to increase fear.
Townsend is described as a white male with grey hair and blue eyes, and he is associated with a Toyota Camry. Misuse of this information to harass or threaten individuals will not be tolerated.
