
LEWISTON, ID — Clearwater Power members in several communities across the Lewis-Clark Valley and surrounding region will experience a scheduled overnight power outage beginning Tuesday night as the Bonneville Power Administration conducts critical maintenance work.
The outage is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, and is expected to last approximately eight hours. Power is anticipated to be restored by 6 a.m.
According to Clearwater Power, about 1,200 members will be affected in the Genesee, Wilma, Clarkston, Snake River, Anatone, Cloverland and Troy, Oregon areas.
The cooperative said all affected members have been notified by phone or email ahead of the outage.
Clearwater Power said the interruption is required by the Bonneville Power Administration to allow for maintenance and system work on the electrical grid.
