PULLMAN, WA – A new hazing investigation involving a Washington State University fraternity is underway.
According to a recent update on the WSU website the Gamma Iota Omicron fraternity is being investigated for an alleged hazing incident from this spring.

No other details about the allegation are posted on the webpage.
WSU is required by state law to publicly report violation allegations on Greek Row.

The requirement is part of “Sam’s Law” which was crafted after the death of WSU student Sam Martinez who died in 2019 of alcohol poisoning following an Alpha Tau Omega party.
