25-Year-Old Woman Dies After Southern Idaho Motorcycle Crash

PINE, ID – A 25-year-old Mountain Home woman died Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the Pine-Featherville Highway, according to the Idaho State Police.

The crash occurred at about 1:17 p.m. on September 14 near milepost 14. Police said the woman was riding a 2013 Honda CBR500 motorcycle eastbound when she failed to negotiate a curve, lost control, and became separated from the motorcycle.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed she was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

All lanes were blocked for approximately 90 minutes while crews responded.

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
