Lewiston Graduate Among Crapo’s Fall 2025 Interns

LEWISTON, ID – U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) has welcomed five interns to his Washington, D.C., and Boise offices for the fall 2025 term, including a recent graduate from Lewiston.

Trevor Rasmussen of Lewiston, a University of Idaho graduate with a degree in international studies and relations, is serving in Crapo’s Washington, D.C., office.

Also interning in the D.C. office are Jack Gabrieli, a Boise native and junior at Creighton University studying economics, and Daisy Aguilar of Idaho Falls, a junior at George Washington University majoring in political science and marketing with plans to attend law school.

Two interns are serving in Crapo’s Boise office. Megan Knudson, originally from Santa Clarita, California, is a senior at Boise State University studying political science. Ryan Collins of Kuna, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Arizona State University and plans to pursue law school.

Crapo said the program allows students to gain firsthand experience in policymaking and constituent services. “Through their internships, these bright, young individuals will actively engage with Idaho’s constituents, expand their knowledge of the federal policymaking process, and grow hard and soft skills important for their future careers,” he said.

Applications for the spring 2026 internship term are open until October 15. Details are available on Senator Crapo’s official website.
