CLARKSTON, WA — TriState Health will host its next Healthy Bites Workshop on Tuesday, November 11, focusing on diabetes awareness in recognition of National Diabetes Month.
The one-hour session will run from 4 to 5 p.m. in the TriState Health Conference Room at 1221 Highland Avenue in Clarkston. Seating is limited, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP at tsh.org/healthybites or by calling TriState Wellness at 509-751-0229.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Jennifer Raykovich will lead the class, which explores the differences between complex carbohydrates and simple sugars. Participants will learn how seasonal complex carbs can support healthy habits through the holidays.
The workshop also features a live cooking demonstration of a Butternut Squash Breakfast Bowl by TriState Nutritional Services. Guests will receive all the ingredients to recreate the dish at home.
