Fifth Annual Big Canyon Acres Fall Fest Brings Family Fun to Peck This Weekend

PECK, ID — The fifth annual Big Canyon Acres Fall Fest is underway today through Sunday, offering free admission and family-friendly fall activities at the homestead orchard and event venue located a half-mile off Highway 12 before the town of Peck.

The festival runs Friday through Sunday, October 17–19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 39754 Peanuts Lane. Guests can enjoy artisan vendors, a pumpkin patch, kids’ games, hay rides, a hay maze, live music, and fresh-pressed cider made from apples grown on-site. Food will also be available throughout the weekend.

The event is co-sponsored by Inland Cellular, Anderson Windows, and Freedom Northwest Credit Union.

“Year five and we are still alive! We can’t wait to see everyone again for the Big Canyon Acres Fall Fest harvest festival. We love putting together something that has become a fall tradition for families in the area,” said event organizer and orchard owner Susan Jacobson.

Susan and her husband, Ron Jacobson, purchased the 48-acre orchard in 2018 and launched the festival in 2021. Big Canyon Acres has since become a well-known regional wedding and event venue, offering indoor and outdoor ceremony sites, including forest, creekside, and rustic barn settings. The property features an orchard that produces a wide range of fruits and nuts, including apples, pears, cherries, plums, berries, grapes, walnuts, and hazelnuts.
