MOSCOW, ID — The Snake River Community Clinic (SRCC) has opened a new satellite location in Moscow to expand free healthcare access for uninsured and underinsured residents of Latah County and nearby areas.
Located at 333 Palouse River Drive, the clinic operates every Tuesday with variable hours, offering basic medical services in two exam rooms. It is staffed by University of Idaho pre-health students and volunteer medical providers, providing care at no cost and without income or residency requirements.
“This new location is a direct response to a critical gap in care,” said Heidi Burford-Bell, SRCC Executive Director. “When another free clinic closed, many in the community were left with no options. We knew we had to step in.”
The expansion builds on SRCC’s 25-year history of community-based healthcare in the Lewis-Clark Valley. The main number, 208-743-5899, serves both Lewiston and Moscow clinics.
The clinic space in Moscow is made possible through the support of Idaho Public Health, which has also provided clinic space for SRCC in Lewiston for more than 25 years.
