CLARKSTON, WA – Clarkston School District is requesting qualifications from architectural and engineering firms as it prepares to build a new School-Based Health Center (SBHC). The district announced the project on Wednesday, noting that grant funding has been secured to support planning, design, and construction.
The proposed health center would provide medical and behavioral health services directly on school grounds, with the potential to also serve the broader community. According to the district, the selected firm will be responsible for overseeing the full design process, including site evaluation, stakeholder engagement, schematic design, permitting, and construction administration.
The request outlines specific qualifications, including experience with school-based health care facilities, knowledge of Washington state regulations, and familiarity with student-focused safety and accessibility standards. Firms are asked to include examples of similar completed projects, team qualifications, and project approach in their submissions.
Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. on September 5, 2025, and must be submitted electronically to Dani Lynas, Executive Director of Financial Services for Clarkston School District. Late submissions will not be considered.
