CORVALLIS, OR – Perry Severijnse was tabbed the Cascade Conference McDonald’s Field Athete of the Week, presented by Urban Edge Network, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Severijnse hit a national standard in the javelin with the 12th best throw in the NAIA this season. The sophomore won the event at Boise State’s Ed Jacoby Twilight with a mark of 60.68m.

This is the first weekly honor of Severijnse’s career.
