MOSCOW, ID – Firefighters from several local agencies extinguished a wildland fire between Moscow and Troy Monday afternoon.

Volunteer Firefighters from Troy and Moscow Rural responded to the 3 acre blaze off Wallen Road around 2:30.  A home and an outbuilding were briefly threatened.  Firefighters with Idaho Department of Lands responded to assist.  There’s no word at this point what caused the blaze.  The fire burned mostly heavy brush and some scattered timber.
