PULLMAN, WA – The Port of Whitman County has purchased land near the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport to develop a new business park.
The port commissioners on Friday closed on 113 acres in the City of Pullman across the road from the airport. According to a press release from the local government agency, officials have been working to expand its real estate offerings in Whitman County.
The port has been working with the city to conduct an environmental assessment of the site and analyzing possible impacts to the airport. The press release did not reveal who sold the property to the port.
The Port of Whitman County owns and leases property in the Pullman Industrial Park on the North end of town.
