PULLMAN, WA — Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories announced the recipients of its 2026–2027 Scholarship Program, awarding 15 scholarships to students pursuing degrees in engineering and applied technology.
According to the company, 13 scholarships were awarded at $5,000 each, while two scholarships were awarded at $2,500 each. The scholarship program, administered through Scholarship America, received 321 applications from eligible students. Recipients were selected based on academic achievement, leadership, work ethic and dedication to their chosen field of study.
SEL President Dave Whitehead said the program reflects the company’s commitment to supporting future engineers and technologists.
“Education and innovation are central to who we are at SEL, and our scholarship program is one way we invest in the next generation of engineers and technologists,” Whitehead said in the release.
The scholarship recipients represent 13 colleges and universities across the United States.

SEL said the scholarship program is open to students pursuing eligible engineering and technology degrees at partner institutions nationwide and is designed to support students who demonstrate academic excellence and strong character.
