LEWISTON, ID — The Lewiston School District will again provide free meals to children this summer through the Summer Food Service Program at multiple school sites across the city.
According to a public release from Independent School District No. 1, meals will be available to all children ages 1-18 without charge beginning June 8. The program will continue through early to mid-August depending on the location.
Meal sites include:
- Centennial Elementary School, 815 Burrell Ave., Lewiston
- June 8 through Aug. 7
- Lunch served from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Jenifer Middle School, 1213 16th St., Lewiston
- June 8 through Aug. 14
- Breakfast served from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
- Lunch served from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Orchards Elementary School, 3429 12th St., Lewiston
- June 8 through Aug. 14
- Lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
District officials noted there will be no food service Friday, July 3.
