POST FALLS, ID – The Post Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s help after a hit-and-run incident involving an 11-year-old child occurred on Thursday afternoon.

According to the department, officers responded to the intersection of Spokane Street and 11th Avenue around 3:10 p.m. on March 27, 2025, after a vehicle struck the child in a crosswalk. The vehicle, described as a white SUV, possibly with Idaho license plates and a multi-colored license plate frame, left the scene. The driver is believed to be an adult female.

The child sustained minor injuries in the collision.
