LEWISTON, ID – Three-year-old Logan Hargett of Lewiston is currently in third place in his group in the national Toddler of the Year competition, a fundraising campaign hosted by Mario Lopez and organized by Colossal.
The contest highlights children ages 2 and 3 while raising money for Toys for Tots, a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program that provides holiday gifts to children in need.
Logan’s mother, Shelby Ann Hargett, said her son is hoping to advance to the next round, which will require him to place in the top two of his group.
According to his contest entry, Logan enjoys swimming, playing at the park, Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse, and helping his grandmother at a local food pantry. His mom says the $25,000 grand prize would go toward education costs for Logan and his sister.
Colossal, the company behind the campaign, said its fundraising contests have generated more than $187 million for nonprofit causes over the past four years, including $24 million in 2024 for Baby2Baby.
The winner of Toddler of the Year will receive the title, national recognition, and the opportunity to lead the 2025 Hollywood Christmas Parade.
