LEWISTON, ID — The annual Toys for Tots campaign is underway across the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, with U.S. Marine Corps volunteers collecting toys and donations to support local children this holiday season.
Led by Marine Corps Sgt. Jason Brown, members of the Sgt. Maj. Linehan Detachment will collect toys and monetary donations outside the Clarkston Walmart over the next two weekends. The program accepts new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0–15 and notes a particular need for items suitable for ages 8–15, such as craft kits, Legos, makeup sets, Nerf items, and fishing gear.
St. Vincent de Paul in Clarkston is gathering names of families needing assistance in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, while residents in the Moscow/Pullman area may contact the University of Idaho ROTC office.
