PULLMAN, WA – Two men have been sentenced for February’s burglary and assault on College Hill in Pullman.

23-year-old Aaron Fultz of LaCrosse and 28-year-old Devan Hannus of St. John pleaded guilty on Friday in Whitman County Superior Court. Fultz pleaded to felony 1st degree burglary and 2nd degree assault. Judge Roger Sandberg sentenced Fultz to 2 years in prison.

The men assaulted a woman and her boyfriend inside a residence on College Hill and then fled. The Whitman County SWAT Team arrested Fultz and Hannus a few hours later at a home on Military Hill in Pullman.

SWAT was used because Pullman Police believed the suspects were armed. One of the men is an ex-boyfriend of the woman who was assaulted.
