KAMIAH, ID — A 43-year-old Kamiah man was arrested following a reported domestic dispute involving children, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, Idaho County Dispatch received a 911 call at approximately 10:14 a.m. on Dec. 27 reporting a domestic disturbance in the presence of children. Deputies responded to the scene and spoke with all involved parties.
Jacob Gollyhorn, 43, of Kamiah, was taken into custody and booked on several charges, including felony intimidating a witness, felony attempted strangulation in the presence of a child, felony battery with intent to commit a serious felony, felony injury to a child, and misdemeanor resisting and obstructing.
The sheriff’s office stated the arrest reflects its ongoing focus on emergency response and community safety.
The charges are allegations at the time of arrest. All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
