MOSCOW, ID – A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in Moscow on drug-dealing charges for the second time this year.
Cyra Cunningham was arrested during a drug bust early Sunday morning that netted four suspects. According to court documents, the FBI had a warrant for Kevin Tannehill, and authorities believed he was driving through Moscow after picking up fentanyl in Spokane. An FBI agent, with help from Latah County Sheriff’s Deputies and Moscow Police, located Tannehill’s vehicle at a convenience store. Cunningham was in the vehicle and reportedly had five grams of fentanyl, which is enough for a trafficking felony in Idaho. Another passenger in the vehicle, Janet Pakootas was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. Court documents show that Tannehill was arrested on a probation violation, and another suspect, Ruben Padilla was taken into custody on a warrant out of Kootenai County.
Cunningham was arrested by Moscow Police in July for possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver. She pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in August and was sentenced to 16 days in jail, and was credited for time already served.
Padilla was arrested with Cunningham in Moscow back in July on a warrant and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
